While there are no major resorts here, a variety of locally owned inns, guesthouses, villas and campgrounds offer friendly island hospitality in keeping with the unique character of Anegada-- everyone's favorite coral island!

Accommodations are located at Setting Point's Anegada "Habour," Pomato Point, Cow Wreck Bay, Loblolly Bay, The Settlement and Nutmeg Point.

Setting Point's
Anegada "Harbour"

Anegada Reef Hotel (email 495-8002 VHF 16), located at the Anegada "Harbour" at Setting Point, has recently renovated rooms and excellent food, including great English breakfasts, fresh fish, conch and the house specialty, barbecued lobster.

Neptune's Treasure has a friendly, family run guesthouse with four modern, affordable rooms as well as a campground with well-ventilated and comfortable tents furnished with foam mattresses and bedding (or bring your own). Simplicity describes this basic island resort situated on the "harbour." In addition, the restaurant serves the freshest deep-sea fish in the islands, cooked to a old family receipe.

Pomato Point

The place for beach lovers, Pomato Point is the location of the Anegada Beach Cottages (email 495-9466). Unspoiled, Pomato Point is a place to get away from it all.

Pomato Point also has a campground for a few tent sites.

Near Pomato Point are the Seaside Villas at the West End.

Cow Wreck Bay

Located right on the beach next to the Cow Wreck Beach Bar, the Cow Wreck Beach Resort (495-8047) has three villas.

Also, at nearby Keel Point, the Sheridan House (also called The Anegada Sands Hotel) has 16 studios in two stories with balconies overlooking the beach.

Loblolly Bay

Loblolly Bay is the most popular beach on Anegada's Ocean Coast.

With its fantastic location right on the bluff at the top of the beach, Mac's Place Camping (495-8020) is one of the world's finest campgrounds (now closed due to Mac's passing). Beautiful canopies shaped from large seagrapes offer spots to set up tents right in tree's "architecture" facing the beach. In addition, Mac, who is an Anegadan, offers tent platforms as well as the usual campground amenties.

LavendaBreezeVilla.jpg (9072 bytes)Just to the East of Mac's, the new Lavenda Breeze villa (email) looks out over the bay from its upper level wrap-around deck where guests barbecue and dine to enormous views, just off the living room with card/game table area, dining room and fully furnished kitchen. This luxury villa offers three bedrooms (2 king and 1 queen pullout), each with ensuite bathroom and private outdoor shower. George, the owner, will assist with car rental, provisioning and general Anegada tips. Lavenda, the local name for the beautiful bay lavender plant, is featured at this fully landscaped villa just 50 feet from the beach.

The Settlement

On the outskirts of The Settlement, the Ocean Range Hotel (495-9522, 2019) has six affordable units with private outdoor balconies overlooking the waters of Anegada's "Inland" Reef in the distance.

OceanRangeHotelInterior.jpg (6906 bytes)These are very modern and clean rooms, fully furnished with a bright decor, air conditioning, televisions and comfortable firm queen size beds.

The kitchenettes have all the necessities including microwaves and cold water servers. The bathrooms have tub/shower combinations with lots of hot water.

The entry is a motel style balcony on the second floor with views of Anegada's "Outback." Good for a night off the boat in the splendor of good air conditioning. Families may use the connection doors for linking suites.

Nutmeg Point

Nutmeg Point offers excellent bonefishing on Anegada's inland reef side.

With two affordable bedrooms and all the modern amenities, the Bonefish Villa (284/495-8045) has the beach right in its backyard. Great for fishermen or beachcombers and their families!
